Service Desk Analyst - Windows 11 Deployment

Coolangatta, Gold Coast | 4 days onsite per week | Contract

n

2 Positions: 1 x 2 months, 1 x 6 months.

n

We are looking for a hands-on Service Desk Analyst to join an established IT team in Coolangatta, supporting day-to-day users while assisting with a major Windows 11 rollout across the organisation.

n

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone with around 1-2+ years' Service Desk/Desktop Support experience who enjoys working directly with users and wants exposure to a broad IT environment.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to users across the organisation
n
- Assist with the rollout and deployment of Windows 11
n
- Set up, configure and troubleshoot laptops, desktops and other end-user devices
n
- Provide remote and onsite support to users
n
- Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365 and general desktop issues
n
- Manage incidents and service requests through the Service Desk
n
- Support Active Directory and user access requirements
n
- Assist with hardware replacements, warranties and IT inventory
n
- Escalate more complex incidents to the appropriate technical teams
n
- Document solutions,



procedures and support processes
n
- Work with internal stakeholders and external technology vendors
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Experience in a Service Desk, Help Desk or Desktop Support role
n
- Good knowledge of Windows desktop environments
n
- Experience with Microsoft 365
n
- Exposure to Active Directory
n
- Windows 10/11 deployment, migration or device rollout experience would be highly regarded
n
- Basic networking knowledge
n
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- Comfortable providing hands-on support directly to end users
n
- Australian driver's licence
n
