Position Details

Type: Temporary ongoing role with potential for permanent employment

n

- Day Shift: 07:00
n
- Afternoon Shift: 15:00
n
- Night Shift: 23:00
n

Location: Mascot, NSW

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Prepare, cook, and assemble meals according to specific flight and dietary requirements
n
- Follow recipes and production instructions meticulously to ensure consistency and quality
n
- Perform manual handling tasks, including repetitive lifting of up to 25kg, safely and efficiently
n
- Maintain strict adherence to HACCP and OHS policies to ensure a safe and compliant working environment
n




- Work efficiently under tight deadlines, adjusting to schedule changes seamlessly
n
- Manage production volumes, stock levels, and ingredient quantities accurately
n
- Conduct ongoing quality control checks throughout the meal preparation process
n
- Supervise and support Catering Assistants, fostering teamwork and high standards of service
n

Qualifications and Skills

n

n
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
n
- Proven recent experience in high-volume kitchens or food manufacturing environments
n
- Ability to complete a 2-hour onsite trial to demonstrate skills
n
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including on-call and overtime as required
n
- Ability to pass Medical and Police Checks required
n
- Full working rights in Australia
n
- Robust work ethic with reliability, initiative, and a positive attitude
