About the Role

n

Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking an Environmental Service Worker - Cleaner to join our St James Retirement Village in Heatley, Townsville. As part of our team, you will play an key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents, helping them to enjoy their home and community.

n

About You

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Previous cleaning experience, preferably within aged care, retirement living, hospitality or a similar, multi-disciplinary environment.
n
- A strong eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
n
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- A friendly, respectful and professional approach when interacting with residents.
n
- An understanding of workplace health and safety and safe cleaning practices.
n
- Reliability,



initiative and a strong work ethic.
n

Key Criteria

Essential

- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
n
- Current National Police Check - or ability to acquire.
n
- Valid Australian working rights - unfortunately, we are not currently able to sponsor.

Desirable

- Certified II in Cookery or similar
