Job Description

Bestie Co Digital Marketing is seeking an experienced Senior YouTube & Podcast Producer to work closely with an established Australian podcast and digital media client.

We're looking for someone who can take ownership of podcast production, YouTube performance and digital content delivery, while supporting the host with the day-to-day operation of the podcast.

n

This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone who understands both the creative and performance sides of digital media.

n

Key responsibilities

- Planning and coordinating podcast episodes and recording schedules.
n
- Researching, coordinating and scheduling podcast guests.
n
- Managing guest communication, logistics and follow-ups.
n
- Overseeing podcast recording and production.
n
- Managing the YouTube channel, content calendar and publishing schedule.
n
- Monitoring YouTube analytics, retention, watch time, CTR and overall content performance.
n
- Developing and testing titles, thumbnails and content strategies.
n
- Editing or overseeing the editing of long-form podcast and YouTube content.
n
- Identifying strong short-form content opportunities from long-form episodes.
n
- Creating short-form social content or engaging and managing specialist contractors/editors to produce it.
n
- Briefing and managing external editors, designers and other creatives where required.
n
- Managing podcast sponsorships, brand partnerships and sponsored content.
n
- Coordinating sponsor deliverables, campaign timelines and approvals.
n
- Managing sponsored ad placements, host-read advertising and product integrations within.
n




- Liaising with sponsors and brand partners to ensure agreed deliverables are completed.
n
- Tracking sponsorship commitments and ensuring campaigns are delivered accurately and on time.
n
- Identifying and coordinating suitable recent sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
n
- Coordinating live podcast events, appearances and other media-related events.
n
- Managing event logistics, schedules, suppliers, venues and relevant stakeholders.
n
- Assisting with travel planning and logistics for the host when required.
n
- Travelling interstate or elsewhere with the host on occasion for podcast recordings, live events, appearances or other media opportunities.
n
- Overseeing quality control and ensuring content is delivered on time and to a high standard.
n
- Scheduling and publishing content across relevant digital platforms.
n
- Managing podcast-related emails and enquiries.
n
- Supporting the host with day-to-day production, scheduling and content requirements.
n
