Sutra Services Pty Ltd provides property maintenance, small‐scale construction, and council project works across Melbourne. We are expanding our team and seeking a qualified Carpenter to support ongoing project demand.

About the Role

n

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to carry out construction, installation, repair, and maintenance tasks across residential, commercial, and council sites. This is a full‐time, ongoing position working 38 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Construct, install, renovate, and repair timber structures and fixtures.
n
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials using hand and power tools.
n
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
n
- Install doors, windows, frames, partitions, flooring, cabinetry, and hardware.
n
- Build and install formwork for concrete foundations and slabs.
n
- Inspect existing structures and perform corrective repairs.

- Ensure all work complies with Australian building codes and WHS requirements.
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification.
n
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in residential or commercial carpentry.
n
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
n
- Competence with carpentry tools, machinery, and equipment.
n
- Knowledge of Australian building standards and WHS practices.
n
- Solid problem‐solving skills and ability to work independently.
n
- Driver's licence preferred.
n

Salary & Conditions

n

- Salary range: $80,000 – $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
n
- Full‐time, 38 hours per week.
n
- Melbourne metropolitan area.
n
