Slamm Services is seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Civil Operators to join our growing team.

n

This is a hands-on role suited to experienced operators who are confident across multiple machines, take pride in their work and enjoy the variety of working across different civil construction activities and projects.

n

About the Role

n

Working as part of our civil construction team, you will be involved in a range of works across Mackay and the Bowen Basin, including:

n

- Operating a variety of civil construction plant and equipment
n
- Excavation, bulk earthworks and detailed earthworks
n
- Drainage, trenching and preparation works
n
- Loading, spreading, trimming and material placement
n
- General civil construction and site works
n
- Working from plans, levels and site specifications
n
- Completing daily pre-starts and maintaining equipment to a high standard
n
- Working safely and efficiently alongside supervisors, engineers, operators and ground crews
n

n

Plant may include excavators, loaders, skid steers/track loaders, dozers, graders, rollers and backhoes, depending on project requirements and individual competencies.

About You

n

We're looking for operators who:

n

n
- Have demonstrated experience across multiple items of civil construction plant
n
- Have a strong understanding of civil construction and earthworks
n




- Can confidently move between machines and assist wherever required
n
- Take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
n
- Look after their equipment and maintain a high standard of presentation
n
- Are reliable, self-motivated and work well as part of a team
n
- Have a strong commitment to safety
n
- Hold a current Driver Licence, Construction White Card and relevant plant competencies/tickets
n

n

Experience with GPS/machine control, final trim or detailed earthworks will be highly regarded.

n

Previous experience working on mine sites or within heavy industry will also be advantageous.
