We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant for our client who is a well‑established and growing public practice firm in Keysborough. About the Role
You’ll work closely with the Managers and Partners while managing a diverse portfolio of SME clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs.
Providing high‑quality taxation and business advisory services to small‑to‑medium business clients.
Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor on complex matters, including Division 7A.
Coaching and mentoring junior accountants to support their development.
Staying current with legislative changes and emerging tax issues.
About You
You’re a confident communicator with strong technical skills and a proactive, reliable work style. You will have:
A degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business or related field.
CA or CPA qualification (completed or near completion).
6–8 years’ experience in public practice, including 2–3 years in a senior or manager‑level role.
Strong knowledge of Australian taxation law and hands‑on experience with Xero.
Advanced Microsoft Office, Xero, BGL and related software’s skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accountability in your work.
A valid Victorian driver’s licence and your own transport.
