Are you a Senior Project Engineer looking for the opportunity to step into a Project Manager role?

Robson Civil Projects is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team on a major BHP rehabilitation project in Muswellbrook. This position offers a clear pathway to Project Management, with the successful candidate working closely alongside an experienced Project Manager and progressively taking on greater responsibility as part of a planned leadership transition.

About the Role

n

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a major mine rehabilitation project. You'll be involved in all aspects of project delivery, including planning, programming, client liaison, subcontractor management, cost control, and project reporting.

n

As you build your knowledge of the project and client requirements, you will have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and develop into a Project Manager position.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Managing daily project delivery activities
n
- Assisting with project planning, programming, and resource allocation
n
- Monitoring budgets, costs, and project performance
n
- Managing subcontractors and suppliers
n
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental,



and quality requirements
n
- Building strong relationships with the client and project stakeholders
n
- Preparing project reports and supporting commercial outcomes
n
- Working closely with the Project Manager to develop your leadership and project management capability
n

About You

n

n
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering or Construction Management
n
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer
n
- Experience delivering civil earthworks, mining, rehabilitation, or infrastructure projects
n
- Strong understanding of project planning, cost control, and contract administration
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Motivated to progress into a Project Manager role
n
- Mining experience will be highly regarded
n
- Experience working on BHP or other mining projects will be advantageous
n
