Position: Mental Health Support Worker
n Location: Wollongong, NSW

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality support and care to individuals with mental health diagnoses.
n
- Assist participants in daily living activities and promote their independence.
n
- Implement personalized care plans and support strategies.
n
- Foster a safe and supportive setting for all participants.
n

n

Requirements

n

n
- Must have excellent English communication and verbal skills .
n
- Experience with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, psychosis, paranoia and complex behaviours (highly desirable)
n
- Valid driver's license and own transport
n
- NDIS Clearance
n
- Strong mental health experience
n




- First Aid and CPR certification
n
- Police check
n
- COVID-19 vaccination
n
- Completion of NDIS Orientation Modules
n
- Infection control training
n
- Mental Health1st aid ( Desirable )
n
- Mental Health Cert – ( Desirable )
n
