About Monda Lodge

Monda Lodge is a fully accredited aged care facility located in Healesville in the Yarra Valley.Residents are welcomed into a home-like setting where their independence, maintenance of friendships and participation in the local community is encouraged. An open door philosophy exists for family and friends to visit.Monda Lodge offers a range of social and recreational activities in which residents are encouraged to participate.

About the role

n

We are seeking Enrolled Nurses who have a passion for aged care nursing and providing focused care to residents.

n





As an Enrolled Nurse you will be responsible for the provision of resident focused holistic nursing care to those assigned to you, under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

n

Duties of the role include but are not limited to:

n

n
- Supporting residents in all activities of daily living and delivering resident centred care that meets best practice standards and in line with policies.
n
- Demonstrating respect for resident's values, customs and spiritual beliefs to support care that is effective and culturally appropriate.
n

n

About you

n

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will have:

n

n
- A current, condition-free registration with AHPRA
n
- Completed a graduate year program
n
- Aged Care nursing experience
n
- A current National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) workers screening check
n
- A strong commitment to high quality care
n
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
n
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
n

n

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in theAustralian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice) . Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
