The Role
This is a rare opportunity to step into a genuine leadership role for HIPA in Victoria — without leaving hands‑on high performance sports physiotherapy behind.
You'll not only work as a senior physiotherapist in one of Melbourne's leading sports and performance facilities but you also have the opportunity to lead our Victorian team as a state manager whilst also spending 1–2 days a week onsite delivering hands‑on occupational physiotherapy as well as health and safety education across Victorian workplaces. Some key responsibilities will include:
Managing your own physiotherapy caseload at our Essendon high-performance clinic
Working alongside our strength & conditioning, podiatry, and remedial massage team
Mentoring junior clinicians where relevant
Onsite (1–2 days/week)
Onsite occupational physiotherapy and injury management
Building solid rapport with employees and staff across all levels
Manual handling assessments and training
Running health education and exercise sessions with workers
Driving meaningful change to reduce injuries and improve employee health
Leading the Victorian team (potential if suitable and interested)
Owning the performance and growth of HIPA's Victorian operations
Leading and supporting our Victorian onsite physiotherapy team
Building and growing relationships with key Victorian clients
Overseeing new site onboarding and resolving client issues
About You
Registered Physiotherapist with current AHPRA registration
Significant clinical experience, ideally including occupational/onsite physiotherapy or high level sports experience
Confident engaging with corporate clients and site stakeholders, as well as one‑on‑one with patients
Full Australian working rights and a valid driver's licence
We don't measure your success by how many people you treat, but by the impact you have — on the team you lead, the clients you serve, and the people you treat, both inside and outside the treatment room.
