Oriem is a fast-growing company in the concrete steel reinforcement industry, supplying builders, developers, and concreters.

We're looking for a Transport Coordinator to join our team and grow with our business at our St Marys office.

n

Working in a team workplace, the successful applicant will report to the Warehouse Manager. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role responsible for coordinating deliveries between our branches, suppliers, and customers, ideal for someone who is organised, calm under pressure, and a robust communicator.

n

Location: St Marys
n Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Planning and scheduling daily deliveries across multiple branches
n
- Liaising with drivers, customers, and suppliers to coordinate pickups and deliveries
n
- Managing delivery schedules to ensure on-time, efficient service
n
- Problem-solving delivery delays, route changes, and last-minute job requests
n
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, dockets, and vehicle allocations
n




- Assisting with incoming phone calls and general office overflow duties
n
- Data entry and ad-hoc duties as requested
n
- Experience in transport, logistics, or dispatch coordination essential
n
- Good telephone manner and strong people skills
n
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; must be competent in Excel
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
n
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
n
- Knowledge of the Sydney metro road network is highly regarded
n
