An exciting opportunity exists for a casual position in a busy specialist clinic.

n

Currently offering- Medical Receptionist, 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday). Must possess flexibility with working hours and be able to cover holidays and sick relief.

Located within the Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast. Onsite parking included.

n

Duties Included but not limited to;

n

n
- Greeting and welcoming patients in a professional and courteous manner
n
- General medical reception duties including data entry and recalls as well as handling correspondence via medical objects, email, scanning, faxing etc.
n
- Scheduling appointments, procedures and managing the clinic's calendar effectively
n
- Handling patient inquiries and providing information about appointments and procedures
n
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and files
n
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as invoicing, billing, and inventory management
n




- Providing a high level of customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role
n
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals
n
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
n
- Enjoys working both independently and within a team
n
- Experience with Genie or Gentu would be highly regarded
n
- Prior knowledge of Medicare & Health Fund billing & quoting would be highly regarded
n
- A friendly, professional, and empathetic demeanour
n
- A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
n
