Your Role with Metcash

n

n
- Support Group planning, forecasting and performance reporting across the P&L;, balance sheet and cash flow.
n
- Develop robust three-way financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis and investment decisions.
n
- Analyse working capital, liquidity and net debt drivers to improve cash generation and balance sheet performance.
n
- Provide financial insight and recommendations for Executive, Board and Investment Committee reporting.
n
- Evaluate capital expenditure proposals, business cases and strategic initiatives.
n




- Partner with Total Tools Hardware Group and corporate leaders to drive commercial outcomes and informed decision-making.
n
- Lead continuous improvement across FP&A; processes, systems and reporting.
n
- Support strategic projects including M&A;, due diligence and business transformation initiatives.

What You'll Bring

n

n
- CA or CPA qualification with extensive experience across FP&A;, corporate finance, financial accounting and management reporting.
n
- Solid accounting foundations and a deep understanding of how the P&L;, balance sheet and cash flow interact to drive business performance.
n
- Advanced three-way financial modelling skills, including forecasting, scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
n
- Demonstrated experience analysing working capital, cash conversion, liquidity and net debt performance.
n
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
n
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders through clear, compelling and data-driven recommendations.
n
- Experience evaluating capital allocation decisions, investment opportunities and business cases.
n
- Advanced Excel skills, with experience in TM1 and Power BI highly regarded.
n
