PSYCHOLOGIST - Therapy, Assessment & Clinical Specialty Opportunities

Part Time (Min 3+ days or more) or Full Time
n
At Activ8 Mind, we're looking for a psychologist who enjoys working across a varied caseload but who is also passionate about leveraging their expertise within a specialty area and shaping governance and service delivery, supporting internal capability development, quality assurance initiatives, resource development
n
Alongside therapy and/or assessment work, you will have the opportunity to become a recognised internal Champion AKA; Subject Matter Expert. This means you will lead through the doing, as well as helping to shape service delivery, mentor colleagues, support quality practice and contribute to future service development.

Children & Adolescent mental health (from 5 years)

YOU
n
ESSENTIAL:
n
n
- AHPRA REGISTERED- General or Clinical , with min 3 years post registration experience
n
- Skills/ knowledge ofCBT, ACT , mindfulness , motivational interviewing and other leading evidenced based therapies
n
- Past experience providing 1:1 counselling / therapy
n
- Demonstrated experience working with adults, children and/or adolescents within one or more clinical practice areas.
n
- NDIS worker screening check (or eligible), Working with Children Check & National Police Clearance
n
- Own vehicle
n
- Able to maintain highly professional conduct and positive work behaviours especiallyin the areas of client communication, expectation management and record keeping
n
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
n

- Board Approved Supervisor Registration
n
nn
- Experience conducting psychological assessments including cognitive, psychoeducational, ADHD, vocational or diagnostic assessments
n
- Advanced training in trauma interventions including EMDR
n
- Experience supporting veterans, first responders or clients with PTSD
n
- Experience in sleep, chronic pain or health psychology interventions
n
- Previous supervision, mentoring or leadership experience
n
- Interest in becoming a Subject Matter Expert and champion for a specialised practice area
n
