The Role – Care Service Employee (Casual) | Deniliquin
n
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Service Employees to join our team on a casual basis in Deniliquin. Flexibility to work across morning, afternoon,
and night shifts is essential.
n
As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of our residents. You will provide person-centred care and support, assist with daily living activities, and promote residents' emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing. Every day, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful connections and make a genuine difference in the lives of older people.

You will be responsible for:
n
n
- Assisting residents with personal care including showering
n
- Supporting residents with meals
n
- Contributing to care planning with registered staff
n
- Documenting care and services provided to residents
n
- Engaging residents in meaningful activities
n
n
Requirements
n
n
- Minimum requirements - Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support/ 2nd year Nursing students who have completed 1 placement.
n
- Experience in similar role in aged care
n
- A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people
n
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
n
- Respect for all people, regardless of background, age, gender, religion and ethnicity
n
- Flexible to do AM/PM and night shifts
n
