The Prospect:
n
Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, you'll provide geological support to the mining operation at Gruyere Gold Mine.
n
You'll work closely with the Mining and Geology teams to deliver safe, effective and timely geological outcomes that support production and resource optimisation. You'll have the opportunity to work across a large-scale open pit operation, contribute to grade control and orebody knowledge, and develop your technical expertise within a supportive team.

What You'll Do
n
n
- Provide geological support to the mining operation, including grade control,
ore spotting and production activities
n
- Undertake geological mapping, sampling and interpretation to improve understanding of the orebody
n
- Support reconciliation, resource definition and short-term mine planning activities
n
- Collaborate with Mining and Geology teams to deliver safe, efficient and commercially focused outcomes
n

What You'll Bring
n
n
- Tertiary qualification in Geology or a related discipline
n
- Experience in an open pit mining or mine geology environment
n
- Experience with geological modelling, grade control and QAQC processes
n
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
n
