About the Role

n

We're a commercial construction company based in Redland Bay looking for a proactive PA & Accounts Officer to join our team.

n

In this role, you'll work directly alongside our Managing Director and project teams to handle our day-to-day accounts, help out with procurement, and keep administrative operations running smoothly. It's a hands‐on position with plenty of variety, perfect for a strong all‐rounder who knows their way around Xero and enjoys taking ownership of their work.

What You'll Be Doing

n

Accounts & Finance:

n

Handle day-to-day accounts payable and receivable.

n

Run daily and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.

n

Manage payroll and superannuation obligations in Xero.

n

Prepare weekly financial summaries and project reports.

n

Project & Procurement Support:

n

Work with suppliers and subcontractors on product sourcing and trade procurement.

n

Assist with tender documentation, contract administration,



and project filing.

n

Executive Support:

n

Provide direct administrative support to the Managing Director, including email management, dictation, and scheduling.

n

Keep project files and records organised and up to date.

n

What We're Looking For

n

Solid experience in an accounts and office support role.

n

Solid confidence using Xero.

n

A good handle on Australian payroll and general accounting basics.

n

Excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills.

n

Prior experience in the construction industry is a bonus but not required.
