We are seeking a skilled ProvisioningEngineer to join our network operations team. In this role, you will takeownership of approved network designs and deliver them through to successfulservice activation on the live network.

n

You will beresponsible for planning, configuring, testing, and commissioning servicesacross fibre, transport, and IP networks while coordinating with multiplestakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality, and error-free service delivery.The role requires strong technical hands-on expertise, excellent coordinationskills, and the ability to work in a shift-based setting.

- Takeownership of approved orders from the Design team and deliver them through tosuccessful service activation within committed timeframes
n
- Planprovisioning activities, book change windows, prepare configuration scripts,and verify all pre-requisites before activation
n
- Configure,activate, and commission services on the live network in accordance with theapproved design and change management processes
n
- Coordinatewith Field Engineers, NOC, customer technical contacts, and third parties(e.g., carriers, NBN Co, vendors) to ensure end-to-end service delivery
n
- Performthorough service testing and validation against acceptance criteria and obtaincustomer sign-off where required
n
- Diagnoseand resolve issues encountered during provisioning; elevate to Design, VendorSupport, or senior engineers when necessary
n
- Executerollback procedures cleanly when required and ensure the network is returned toa stable state
n
- Updateinventory, provisioning records, and order management systems accurately uponcompletion of each task
n
- Producehandover documentation for Service Operations and ensure monitoring andalarming are correctly configured
n




- Providepost-activation support during the warranty/early-life period and assist withfault investigation
n
- Workshifts and after-hours change windows as required, following on-call andescalation procedures
n
- Identifyrecurring provisioning issues or process gaps and contribute to continuousimprovement initiatives
n
- Comply with workplace Health, Safety, andEnvironment (HSE) policies and procedures at all times
n
- Activelycontribute to process improvement initiatives and suggest enhancements toworkflows and best practices
n

Undertake any other dutiesand activities as requested by the line manager or as required by businessneeds

Requirements

n

n
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications,Electronics, Computer Science, or related engineering field (Diploma withstrong relevant experience may be considered)
n
- Experience : 4–8 years of hands-on experience in networkprovisioning and service activation within a telecom or service providerenvironment
n
- Technical Skills:n n
- Hands-onconfiguration and provisioning of Juniper (MX), Cisco, and Nokia devices
n
- Strongexperience with SecureCRT, WinSCP, and scripting for device configuration
n
- DWDMprovisioning experience on Nokia PSS and Huawei platforms using NFM-P and NFM-T
n
- Workingknowledge of Alcatel SDH (1660, 1662, 1642), Cisco WIP routers, NokiaNGTT/NGCE-AA, and Netconfig roles
n
- Experiencewith Microsoft Azure and AWS networking, including tunnel creation
n
- Operationalknowledge of NBN Portal, One Manage, TEMIP, Voice Switches, and OSS systems
n
- Excellentcoordination and stakeholder management skills
n
- Strongproblem-solving and troubleshooting abilities under pressure
n

- Huaweicertifications - NCE-CE (Cloud & Enterprise) and NCE-TX (Transmission)

- Experiencewith fibre, transport, and IP/MPLS service provisioning
