Job Description

Mapoon Aboriginal Shire Council is seeking an experienced Executive Manager Finance to lead the financial operations, provide strategic guidance to the CEO and ELT, and ensure strong governance and long-term sustainability for the Council and community.

Reporting to the CEO, this role leads the Finance Department, delivers budgeting, reporting, and statutory compliance, mentors staff, and drives initiatives that support community outcomes in a culturally respectful workplace.
