Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Managing a diverse product range of many SKU’s in an extremely fast paced environment which warehouses ambient, fresh, chilled & frozen foods
Planning and regular assessment of daily logistics and distribution coordination
Put in place training/ rotational programs for existing and new staff to create a multi-skilled workforce
Strategic forecast, budgeting and planning for implementation of inventory and purchasing control, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans
Use of ERP systems for the management of daily operations, efficient stock management and reporting
Warehouse roster scheduling and labour cost
Manage resources effectively and minimise costs as per company directions
Negotiating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements
Communicate with customers in regards to supplies and distribution arrangements
Monitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels
Operating recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times
Liaising with other departments and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation
Oversee company vehicle and truck operations, including scheduling, maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations to ensure efficient warehouse distribution.
Overseeing the recording of purchase, storage and distribution transactions
Directing staff activities and monitoring their performance
Ensure company meets all HACCP requirements and comply with food safety standards
Produce weekly & monthly reports to be presented to encompass warehouse operation
Manage a team of Warehouse staff to ensure highest work quality and efficiency can be achieved
Other relevant ad-hoc projects assigned by the Management
Skills Required
Relevant experience with similar capacity
Fluent in English, Cantonese and Chinese communication
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and organisational skills
True mentor and trainer, yet solid manager overseeing 30+ Warehouse & transport roles
Effective problem solving skills with the capability of developing solutions to increase efficiency & improve service delivery to customers
Computer literate with proficient use of the MS Office suite, Sales & Operations Planning
