Physiotherapy Allied Health Assistant (Paediatric) – ND Collective

ND Collective is a growing paediatric allied health practice supporting children aged 0–12 years with developmental delays, disability, and neurodivergence. We provide evidence-based, play-based, and family-centred therapy in clinic, schools, childcare settings, and the community.
n
We're looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Physiotherapy Allied Health Assistant to work alongside our Physiotherapists, helping children build strength, coordination, confidence, and independence through engaging therapy programs.
n

Key responsibilities
n
n
- Deliver physiotherapy programs designed by our treating Physiotherapists
n
- Support children during clinic, school, childcare, and community-based therapy sessions
n
- Facilitate fun, play-based gross motor activities that build strength, balance, coordination, and motor planning
n
- Assist with therapy groups and school holiday programs
n
- Record session notes and communicate observations with the supervising therapist
n
- Prepare therapy resources and equipment for sessions
n
- Work closely with families and the wider multidisciplinary team
n
n
About You
n

n
- Committed to child-centred and neuro-affirming practice.
n

Essential Requirements
n
n
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or currently studying/qualified in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy or a related allied health field).
n
- Current Working with Children Blue Card.
n
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain).
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
n
n
Desirable
n
n
- Experience working with children, particularly neurodivergent children or children with developmental delays.
n
- Experience supporting physiotherapy or gross motor programs.
n
- Knowledge of the NDIS and family-centred practice.
n
n
