Job Description

We are looking for a Project Exploration Geologist to join our Exploration team at the Pajingo Operation (NQM Gold 2). Reporting to the Senior Geologist, this role will play a key part in delivering site-based exploration programs aligned to the company's growth strategy while ensuring compliance with Queensland mining legislation and company standards.

This position offers excellent technical exposure, hands-on field involvement, and the opportunity to work across a range of exploration activities within an established gold operation.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Support the development and execution of site exploration strategies, plans, and budgets
n
- Manage and interpret geological, geochemical, geophysical, and drilling data with strong QA/QC practices
n
- Conduct and oversee field programs including geological mapping, drill-hole logging, and sampling (soil, stream sediment, rock-chip)
n
- Design and recommend follow-up programs based on interpretation of results
n
- Assist with exploration scheduling, contractor management, and logistics (including drill programs)
n
- Maintain exploration tenure in good standing and ensure regulatory, statutory, and reporting compliance
n
- Prepare accurate and timely technical and monthly reports
n
- Proactively manage cultural heritage, environmental, landholder, and community considerations
n
- Demonstrate strong safety leadership and compliance with SH&E; requirements

About You

n

You are a technically capable and motivated exploration geologist with a strong understanding of gold systems and a team-oriented working style.



You are comfortable working in a site-based environment and engaging with a variety of stakeholders.

Essential

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Geology
n
- Minimum 3 years' experience in gold exploration
n
- Working knowledge of Queensland mining law, exploration standards, and regulatory compliance
n
- Strong understanding of gold mineralisation and structural controls
n
- Experience using GIS software (QGIS, MapInfo or similar) and 3D modelling software (Leapfrog)
n
- Well-developed planning, analytical, and technical reporting skillsProficient in MS Office
n

Desirable

n

- Postgraduate qualification (gold mineralisation preferred)
n
- Understanding of JORC-compliant exploration and resource guidelines
n
- Experience with geological modelling software and databases
n
- Mine geology or resource geology exposure
n
- Senior First Aid certification
n
