About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Key Account Coordinator to support our Key Account Manager and help deliver customer projects accurately and on time.
This varied role supports major retail and trade accounts, including Bunnings and Mitre 10. You will coordinate tender submissions, new range proposals, product onboarding, national range rollouts, expos and ongoing account requirements.
Working across Sales, Product, Marketing and Operations, you will help ensure customer information, timelines, systems and deliverables remain aligned.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate tenders and proposals from the initial request through to final submission.
Collate product, pricing, supply, compliance, sustainability and company information.
Prepare accurate tender documents, schedules, checklists and supporting materials.
Monitor submission deadlines, approvals and outstanding actions.
Provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support for major key accounts.
Prepare product, pricing, range and presentation information for customer meetings and range reviews.
Record meeting decisions, commitments and actions and follow them through to completion.
Coordinate the rollout of new ranges, including item setup, product data, images, barcodes, pricing, packaging, inventory and delivery readiness.
Maintain accurate range information, including product additions, deletions, substitutions and pricing changes.
Coordinate DTA’s involvement in customer and industry expos, including registrations, displays, samples, freight, signage and supporting materials.
Maintain project plans, account records, trackers, calendars and status reports.
Identify potential delays or missing information and escalation issues early.
About you
You will be someone who enjoys creating structure, coordinating detailed projects and bringing people together to meet important customer deadlines.
You will ideally bring:
Experience in project coordination, sales support, account administration, tenders or a similar role.
Robust organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and fixed deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and document-control skills.
Strong written communication, proofreading and stakeholder follow-up capabilities.
Confidence using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
The ability to collate information from multiple stakeholders and produce accurate, well-structured documents.
A proactive,
collaborative and service-focused approach.
Commercial awareness and an understanding of how accuracy and timing affect customer relationships.
Experience supporting major retail accounts, product ranges, tenders, product launches, expos or national rollouts would be highly regarded. Experience within tools, hardware, construction, flooring, tiling, distribution or another product-led environment would also be advantageous.
