PMFresh is a fast-growing and profitable Australian food manufacturing business with significant opportunity ahead of us, and we're looking for an ambitious HSE Advisor to join our team at Homebush.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your entire day behind a desk.

n

You'll be working directly with operational leaders and frontline teams, getting hands-on exposure to incident investigations, risk management, workers compensation, return to work, audits, SafeWork requirements and real operational safety challenges.

n

What you'll be doing

n

You'll work closely with our National HSE team and site leadership to:

n

n
- Conduct incident investigations, 5 Whys and Root Cause Analysis
n
- Complete risk assessments and help implement practical controls
n
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits and safety observations
n
- Support workers compensation and Return to Work cases
n
- Develop suitable duties and Return to Work Plans
n
- Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and safety communications
n
- Support compliance with NSW WHS legislation and SafeWork NSW requirements
n
- Monitor corrective actions and make sure they actually work
n
- Help manage risks involving forklifts, mobile plant, machinery, LOTO, manual handling, chemicals and contractors
n
- Support incident, hazard and HSE management
n
- Work directly with managers and frontline employees to improve safety every day
n

Who we're looking for

n

We're particularly interested in someone who has 2-4 years of practical WHS experience and is ready to take the next step.

n





You'll ideally have:

n

n
- Certificate IV in WHS or higher
n
- Experience completing risk assessments
n
- Exposure to workers compensation, injury management and Return to Work
n
- A good understanding of NSW WHS requirements
n
- Confidence working with operational teams and speaking with people at all levels
n
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
n

n

Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing would be highly regarded.

n

RTW Coordinator, First Aid or formal incident investigation training would be an advantage, but we're also interested in people who are keen to develop these capabilities.
