A leading qualified services firm is looking for a senior GCP Architect to join their AI & Data practice. You'll be shaping and delivering enterprise scale cloud data platforms for major public and private sector clients.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Leading architecture and solution design for enterprise GCP data platforms from discovery through to delivery
n
- Running stakeholder workshops, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, governed cloud solutions
n
- Designing and building batch and real-time data pipelines using GCP-native services
n
- Implementing enterprise data governance using Google Dataplex — lineage, cataloguing, metadata, data quality
n
- Producing the full artefact suite: SADs, HLDs, options papers, ADRs — and presenting to Architecture Review Boards and Governance Committees
n




- Applying GCP security controls, VPC/networking principles, IAM, and data protection standards
n

What you'll bring

n

n
- Deep, hands-on GCP experience across BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Dataplex, and IAM
n
- Strong dimensional and analytical data modelling, advanced SQL, and OLAP platform design
n
- Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD, and DataOps practices
n
- GCP Professional Data Engineer and/or Cloud Architect certifications highly regarded
n
- Baseline or NV1 clearance required
n

This role is an initial 12 month contract open to candidates from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Canberra.
