Job Description

Join the Ragamuffin team as a part time photography assistant, with full training to move you into a photographer role. Since 2010, Ragamuffin has photographed thousands of pets and raised over $200,000 for animal rescue. You'll be part of a small, supportive team that values kindness, growth, and integrity, working on outdoor pet portraiture based in Geelong, Victoria.

Key responsibilities

- Assist on dog photoshoots, with full training provided to move into a photography role
n
- Run sales sessions over Zoom, helping clients choose their favourite photographs, design their packages, and confidently closing each sale with warmth and professionalism
n
- Make phone calls with clients and leads
n
- Respond promptly and warmly to client messages via email and SMS inbox
n
- Occasionally assist at expos or dog events in Melbourne
n

About you

- Interest in photography (full training provided,



so photography skills are valued but not required)

- Comfort around animals and exceptional patience
n
- Own car (photoshoots are often at locations not accessible by public transport)
n
- Saturday availability
n
- Genuine love of dogs
n
- Take pride in your work and appreciate constructive feedback
n
- Punctual and reliable
n
- Enjoy being outdoors and not afraid to get muddy for a great photo
