Description

The Management Accountant will be responsible for the following:

n

n
- Maintain and analyse manufacturing BOMs and costing structures to ensure accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
n
- Monitoring inventory transactions, stock movements and cycle counts, including investigation and reporting of variances.
n
- Analyse manufacturing, purchase price and inventory variances, providing insights and recommendations to management.
n
- Manage inventory adjustments, write-offs, ageing and obsolescence provisions in line with company policies and accounting standards.
n
- Provide inventory,



costing and financial analysis to support manufacturing programs, projects and financial controls.
n
- Monthly management and board reporting and presentations
n
- Support new manufacturing projects, systems and process improvement initiatives.
n
- Assist with audit and tax requirements, including preparation of supporting documentation.
n

Profile

n

A successful Management Accountant should have:

n

n
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
n
- Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system
n
- Professional accreditation such as CPA or CA.
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
- Experience in a similar role within manufacturing or an adjacent industry
n
- Experience with inventory accounting, product costing
n
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
n
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
n
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
n
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
n
- Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
n
