About Our Client

This role is within the Food Manufacturing industry and is located in Underwood QLD. The client is a rapidly growing food manufacturer, working with all the major retailers in Australia.

Job Description

- Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient storage and distribution of products.
n
- Manage and develop a small but high-performing warehouse team through coaching, training and leadership.
n
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock control and FIFO/FEFO processes.
n
- Oversee 3PL partners and cold storage providers to ensure service and performance standards are met.
n
- Ensure DIFOT and customer service targets are achieved across key retail and trade accounts.
n
- Manage warehouse, transport and labour costs within approved budgets.
n
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and optimise resources.
n
- Negotiate and manage carrier, contractor and supplier relationships to deliver best value outcomes.
n
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, GMP, HACCP and WHS requirements.
n




- Take ownership of site facilities, equipment, maintenance, security and emergency response activities.
n

The Successful Applicant

n

A successful Warehouse Manager should have:

n

n
- Proven experience in warehouse management within the FMCG industry.
n
- Robust understanding of inventory control and supply chain processes.
n
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a small team effectively.
n
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and their application in a warehouse setting.
n
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and related software.
n
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
n
- A proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
n
