We're currently looking for an experiencedICT Officerto join our team and provide responsive, customer-focused ICT support. You'll play a key role in troubleshooting technical issues, supporting users, maintaining ICT systems and contributing to projects and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will be a 3-month contract based on-site in Canberra, ACT.

What You'll Do

- Provide frontline ICT support across hardware, software, network, account and device issues.
n
- Triage, troubleshoot, resolve and elevate service requests and incidents.
n
- Administer user accounts, devices, software and ICT asset records.
n
- Support ICT projects, upgrades, testing, rollouts and implementation activities.
n
- Prepare and maintain ICT procedures, user guides and knowledge articles.
n
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, vendors and service providers to resolve ICT issues.
n
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to service and process improvements.
n
- Support cybersecurity controls, patching, access management and incident reporting.
n
- Provide hands-on support for user and workplace ICT hardware.
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- CurrentBaseline security clearance.
n




- Experience providing ICT support within an Australian Government or Commonwealth environment.
n
- Strong troubleshooting experience across Microsoft on-premises and cloud environments.
n
- Experience supporting users across hardware, software, networks, accounts and devices.
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and develop practical solutions.
n
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
n
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and deliver quality outcomes.
n
- A collaborative, qualified and customer-focused approach.
n
- Experience withActive Directory and Azure AD.
n
- An understanding ofITIL principles would be highly regarded.
