Job Description

We're looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Assistant in Nursing to join our team our Day Surgery team on a casual basis. You will support experienced nurses and the multidisciplinary team in a high acuity environment. This is a great opportunity to build your clinical skills and work as part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
n
- Support nursing staff with routine clinical tasks and patient observations
n
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive ward environment
n
- Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families
n
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility
n
- Accurately document care and communicate changes in patient condition
n

About You

n

n
- Minimum 12 months' experience as an AIN in an acute setting
n
- 2nd year undergrad Nursing or Diploma in Nursing student
n
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients with complex medical needs
n
- Commitment to maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality
n
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster
n

Remuneration

n





On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from$28.92 - $31.74+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW AIN/Midwifery gr1-gr3 + thereafter).
