Our client is a leading disabilty support provider that provides best-fit Disability Support Workers to Disability needs.

n

We are currently seeking Casual Disability Support Workers to support NDIS participants living in the community with domestic assistance, personal hygiene support, transportation and social/emotional support.

n

Overview of the role:

n

n
- Support NDIS participants living in their own private home to help them maintain their independence and improve their social & daily living skills.
n
- Participants require support between 7am - 5pm (approximately) Monday to Friday & occasional weekends.
n
- Clients are located in Minto and the surrounding suburbs.
n
- Low intensity suppors to assist participants to live independently.
n
- Supports include domestic assistance, meal preparation, medication assistance (prompting), transportation and support with personal hygiene care (toileting, showering, feeding etc.)
n
- Providing companionship and social support.
n

What you need:

n

n
- Paid experience as a Disability Support Worker
n
- A completed Certificate III in Community Services (or relevant)
n
- Australian Driver's License
n
- First Aid Certificate with current CPR
n




- NDIS Worker Screening Check for paid employment
n
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for paid employment
n
- National Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months or willing to apply)
n
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
n
- Reliable smart phone with data
n
