We are partnering with a leading organisation to identify an experienced Construction Manager to support the delivery of an expanding retail portfolio.

About the Role:

Based in Melbourne CBD, this role will oversee construction, design, and development activities across a portfolio of sites. Working closely with internal stakeholders, project teams, and external partners, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality projects that align with business objectives and customer experience standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the delivery of new developments, refurbishments, and capital works projects
n
- Oversee project outcomes including quality, cost, timelines, risk, and compliance
n
- Develop and implement construction strategies aligned with business priorities
n
- Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders
n
- Drive commercial outcomes through effective tendering, negotiation, and vendor management
n




- Support safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across all projects
n
- Provide reporting, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership
n
- Lead and develop team capability while ensuring operational excellence
n

About You:

n

n
- Extensive experience managing end to end retail construction, design, development, or facilities projects
n
- Strong understanding of Australian construction practices, regulations, and safety standards
n
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and multiple stakeholders
n
- Experience leading teams and working collaboratively across business functions
n
- Solid commercial capability with a strategic and hands-on approach
n
- Exposure to large-scale or multi-site environments is highly regarded
n
