Unleashed Doggie Daycare in Highett, VIC is seeking an experienced Dog Groomer to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis.

What you'll be doing
n
n
- Bathing, brushing, and drying dogs with care and attention to detail
n
- Trimming and shaping coats to breed or customer specifications
n
- Clipping nails and cleaning ears
n
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive relationship with pet owners
n
- Ensuring all grooming equipment is clean, well-maintained, and used safely
n
- Adhering to all health and safety protocols to ensure the wellbeing of dogs and staff
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
- Proven experience as a professional dog groomer, with at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience
n
- Experience in full service grooming and breed-specific cuts is essential
n
- Strong knowledge of different dog breeds and their grooming requirements
n
- Excellent handling skills and the ability to work calmly and patiently with dogs
n
- Keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of grooming
n
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team
n
- Certification in dog grooming or relevant training is highly desirable
n
- Valid work visa or Australian work rights are required for this position
n
- Minimum availability of 2-3 days per week is required
n
