Construction Trades Trainer & Assessor - Tiling, Bricklaying, Carpentry, Painting and Joinery

n

We're looking for a skilled and experienced trainer to deliver and assess Certificate III training across Tiling, Bricklaying, Carpentry, Painting and Joinery. In this role, you'll provide high-quality training, assessment, and student support in accordance with ASQA and the Standards for RTOs.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Deliver and assess units across Tiling, Bricklaying, Carpentry, Painting and Joinery
n
- Design and run engaging training sessions, both face-to-face and online
n
- Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessment tools
n
- Run practical training sessions that meet WHS requirements
n
- Track student progress and provide ongoing academic support
n




- Keep training and assessment records accurate and up to date
n
- Take part in validation and moderation meetings
n
- Maintain compliance with ASQA, training package, and RTO requirements
n
- Stay current with industry developments and pursue ongoing professional development
n

What You'll Need

n

n
- A relevant trade qualification (Certificate III or higher)
n
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
n
- Hands-on industry experience
n
- Solid understanding of Australian construction standards and WHS requirements
n
- VET sector training experience (preferred)
n
- Strong communication and organisational skills
n
- Confidence working with both domestic and international students
n

Pay: $65.00 per hour

n
