Trilogy Care

Queensland

What could you achieve if you had the opportunity to build and shape a modern collections function at a rapidly growing Australian aged care provider?

Trilogy Care is an Australian approved Support at Home provider delivering care and support services that enable older Australians to remain living independently in their own homes for longer. We’re a rapidly growing organisation combining high-quality care, technology and innovation to create better experiences for the people we support and the teams who deliver that care.

Role Overview

As Trilogy Care continues to grow, we’re looking for a Collections Manager to lead our collections function and shape its next stage of growth. This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on collections performance, aged debt, team capability, payment plans and continuous improvement, with the opportunity to modernise the function through data, automation, AI and smarter systems.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll lead the collections team, drive performance and work closely with Finance, Treasury, Client Services and external providers to improve recovery outcomes and address the root causes of aged debt.

We’re looking for a collections leader who enjoys building, improving and delivering measurable results, while balancing strong commercial outcomes with empathy and respect for our clients and their families.

What You’ll Do

- Lead, coach and develop the collections team, driving clear KPIs, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Own collections performance, aged debt, cash recovery and the collections operating rhythm.
- Drive 95% of billed receivables collected within 30 days and 98.5% within 60 days.

- Operate the 60-day disposition gate, ensuring every account has a clear resolution within two business days.
- Maintain the 90-day hard stop, ensuring no account remains on the internal ledger without a formal resolution.
- Own payment plans and hardship processes, with a focus on early intervention, adherence and curing defaults.
- Manage the external collections provider, including performance, recovery outcomes and compliance.
- Use collections data, ageing and team performance metrics to identify issues and drive improvement.
- Personally manage complex, high-value, disputed and sensitive accounts when required.
- Build automated reporting, dashboards and forecasting to provide clear visibility of collections performance.
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI and technology to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Partner with Finance, Treasury, Client Services and Care teams to address the root causes of debt.
- Maintain solid governance and compliance across all collections activity.

What You’ll Bring

- Proven experience leading a collections, credit control or accounts receivable function.
- Demonstrated success improving collection performance, aged debt or DSO.
- Strong hands‑on people leadership and performance management experience.
- Commercial and analytical capability,

with confidence using data to drive decisions.
- Experience managing external collections providers and complex accounts.
- Strong understanding of payment plans, arrears management and responsible collections practices.
- An interest in automation, AI and technology-enabled process improvement.
- Excellent judgement, resilience and communication skills.

Most importantly, you’re a builder - someone who thrives in growth, enjoys solving problems and wants to leave the function stronger than they found it.

Why Trilogy Care?

Join a growing organisation where you can make a meaningful impact and help shape the future of aged care.

- Work from our King Street, Bowen Hills office, close to public transport, cafés, restaurants and supermarkets.
- Access career development, progression opportunities and career mapping.
- Access modern AI tools and technology to work smarter and drive innovation.
- Be part of a team-oriented team with regular social events.
- Access benefits including novated leasing to help maximise your take‑home pay.
- Enjoy Fitness Passport and EAP support for you and your immediate family.

Please note

To join our team, you'll need to have full Australian work rights. As part of our standard recruitment process, we'll also conduct a working rights check, police check and request professional references during onboarding.

We appreciate the interest of recruitment agencies but kindly ask that resumes not be submitted unless a prior agreement is in place. Trilogy Care will not accept responsibility for any fees related to unsolicited resumes.
