We're on the hunt for an experienced Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Technician to join our crew at Olympic Dam.

n

You'll play a key role in leading the team, keeping the fleet running safely and reliably and making sure maintenance is completed to a high standard.

You'll be leading a team working across a seriously impressive fleet, including:

- CAT 992K/G Loaders
n
- CAT 785C Haul Trucks
n
- CAT 14M & 16M Graders
n
- CAT D10T Dozers
n
- Komatsu PC2000 Excavators
n
- Atlas Copco T45 Drills
n
- Scania R620 Road Trains & Belly Dump Trailers
n

n

From preventative maintenance and diagnostics through to major repairs,



you'll help keep equipment available, reliable and production ready.

n

You'll also be responsible for supporting the team on the tools, coordinating daily maintenance activities, providing technical guidance, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification (Cert III)
n
- Previous Leading Hand or senior technician experience
n
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
- Experience working on heavy earthmoving equipment
n
- Mining experience highly regarded
n
- Solid leadership and communication skills
n
- A safety-first mindset and pride in quality workmanship
n
- Ability to coordinate and prioritise maintenance activitiesAbility to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug & Alcohol Screen and Police Check
n
