Plumbing Field Supervisor / Service Manager

We are seeking a Fully Qualified Plumber to join our Victorian operation in Epping 3076 as Field Supervisor / Service Manager.

n

This is a key leadership position suited to an experienced commercial plumber looking to take the next step in their career. The role combines technical leadership, service operations, client management and day-to-day operational oversight.

n

You will play an important role in managing the Victorian service operation, supporting our field technicians, coordinating workflow, assisting with quoting and ensuring our clients receive a consistently high level of service.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Oversee daily service operations, workflow and job progress.
n
- Conduct site inspections for quoting, fault diagnosis and technical assistance as required.
n
- Assist Service Coordinators with job scheduling, resource allocation and prioritisation.
n
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting and guidance to field technicians.
n
- Review incoming work and ensure jobs are properly scoped and prepared for scheduling.
n
- Monitor job progress to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently,



on time and within scope.
n
- Manage warehouse operations, stock levels, parts inventory and procurement.
n
- Assist with quotations, estimating and development of scopes of work.
n
- Liaise directly with clients across aged care, healthcare and commercial facilities.
n
- Develop and maintain strong, professional client relationships.
n
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, productivity and operational efficiency.
n
- Support technicians with technical and operational decision-making.
n
- Ensure company procedures, safety requirements and quality standards are consistently followed.
n
- Work closely with senior management to support the continued growth and development of the Victorian operation.

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Fully Qualified Plumber with a current Victorian plumbing licence.
n
- Demonstrated experience in commercial plumbing maintenance and reactive service.
n
- Previous experience as a Supervisor, Leading Hand, Team Leader, Service Manager or similar is highly regarded.
n
- Strong technical knowledge and practical problem-solving ability.
n
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Ability to manage multiple jobs,



competing priorities and changing requirements.
n
- Experience working with aged care, healthcare, facilities management or commercial clients is desirable.
n
- Strong customer service focus and professional presentation.
n
- Ability to work autonomously and make sound operational decisions.
n
- A proactive approach with the ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions.
n
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to build positive relationships with technicians, clients and management.
n

Salary & Benefits

$140,000 - $160,000 + Superannuation, depending on experience and capability.
