Operations Manager – Logistics & Warehousing

We are looking for an experienced and high-energy Operations Manager to take ownership of a busy logistics and warehousing operation, leading a team of 30–40 employees and driving operational performance across the business.

n

This is a hands‐on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment, knows how to get the best out of people, and has a strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, stock control, ERP systems and process improvement.

n

About the Role

n

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of the warehouse and logistics operation, ensuring people, systems, stock and processes are working efficiently.

n

You will lead a large operational team while also playing a key role in implementing new systems, improving processes and driving operational change.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead, manage and motivate a team of 30–40 warehouse and logistics employees
n
- Oversee daily warehouse, logistics and distribution operations
n
- Drive productivity, efficiency, accuracy and service levels
n
- Manage stock control, inventory accuracy and warehouse processes
n
- Implement and improve ERP and warehouse management systems
n
- Lead the implementation of new systems, processes and operational procedures
n
- Identify operational inefficiencies and develop practical solutions
n
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement across the operation
n
- Manage labour planning, workflow and resource allocation
n
- Work closely with senior management, customers,



suppliers and internal departments
n
- Ensure WHS, compliance and operational standards are maintained
n
- Build a strong culture of accountability, performance and teamwork
n
- Troubleshoot operational issues and make quick, effective decisions
n

About You

n

We are looking for an energetic and commercially minded operations leader who enjoys being on the floor, leading people and making things happen.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Warehouse Manager, Logistics Manager or similar
n
- Experience managing a team of 30+ employees
n
- Strong logistics and warehousing experience
n
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems
n
- Strong understanding of stock control and inventory management
n
- Experience implementing new systems and processes
n
- A track record of improving operational efficiency
n
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
n
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
n
- A high-energy, hands‐on approach
n
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
n
- Strong computer and systems skills
n
