About the Role

n

As Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day operation of the service. Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Providing leadership, direction and support to your team
n
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with children, families and the local community
n
- Managing day-to-day operations, including staffing, resourcing, budgets and strategic matters
n
- Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation
n
- Setting the tone and culture of your team with high standards of professionalism
n
- Working with the Approved Provider, an Assistant Centre Manager and an external management support team who are all there to make you successful
n

About You

n

We are looking for a strong but personable leader who is excited by the opportunity to set the tone and direction at our centre. Candidates will ideally have:

n

n
- Experience as a Centre Manager or high-performing Assistant Centre Manager
n




- A Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
n
- A current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
n
- A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and Education and Care Services National Regulations
n
- Knowledge of child protection and child-safe requirements
n
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
n
- A passion for and commitment to providing high-quality outcomes for children, families and educators
n
