Persian-speaking Personal Care Worker - Coomera Region

We are currently seeking a caring and dedicated Persian-speaking Personal Care Worker to join our growing team on a casual basis, supporting clients in the Coomera region. This role is ideal for someone who can provide culturally sensitive care and communicate confidently with Persian-speaking clients and their families.

What You'll Do

n

n
- Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
n
- Support clients with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and daily living activities
n
- Provide companionship, social engagement, and emotional support
n
- Perform light domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and household organisation
n
- Follow individual care plans and maintain accurate records of services provided
n
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the broader care team
n
- Deliver culturally respectful and person-centred care to Persian-speaking clients
n

About You

n

You are passionate about supporting people to maintain their independence and quality of life. You bring:

- Fluency in Persian (Farsi) and English
n
- Compassion, patience,



and a genuine desire to help others
n
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
n
- The ability to work independently in clients' homes
n
- Reliability, flexibility, and a professional approach to care
n
- An understanding of the importance of cultural sensitivity and respect
n

Requirements

n

n
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home & Community Care, or currently studying Nursing or a Health-related qualification
n
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
n
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain, if required)
n
- Full working rights in Australia
n
