The mine site

n

Operating in central SA, this large-scale underground hard-rock mine is a mature operation with a strong safety culture and a consistent demand for skilled trades and operators. You will enjoy:

- 2:2 roster (days and nights) working 12 hour days
n
- A well-connected team culture, that believes in support and training
n
- Fly into site on Tuesday morning at 6.00pm, fly back into Adelaide at around 10.00am 14 days later
n

The role

n

You will enjoy working in a team of specialist operators working on a ground support mining contract. As a Shotcrete Operator your duties will include;-

n

n
- UG ground support shotcreting operations/ spraying
n
- Work to shift and swing KPI's
n
- Adhere to safety protocols and conduct risk assessments.
n
- Machinery on the contract - Sandvik Cablebolters, Normet Shotcreters & Agi's, Elphinstone Agi, Volvo Loaders and light vehicles.
n

Your skills and experience

n

You will come from a background working as a shotcrete operator working in UG hard rock mining. You will also have the following skills and experience:

n

n
- Unrestricted drivers license (ability to drive manual vehicles)
n
- Highly reliable, punctual and trustworthy
n
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
n
- Ability to obtain a current National Police Clearance & pass a pre-employment medical
n

n

Contract and salary

n

Marble is partnered with this underground mining contractor to supply long term employees to the site. The opportunity exists to join the company on an initial 6-month contract through Marble and transition over to the clients' books after a short probation period (depending on performance and availability).

- $59.80ph - $65.55ph + super (whilst working through Marble on a labour hire contract)
n
- Weekly pay cycles whilst working through Marble
n
- Approximately $52.00ph - $57.00ph + super when working for the mining contractor in a permanent role
