We're looking for an experienced Specialist Engineer – Data to join a large enterprise environment in Brisbane.

Contract: Until the end of 2026

n

This is a senior technical role suited to an experienced Data Engineer who can provide technical leadership across the design, development and implementation of solutions that improve data processing, integration, accessibility and reliability.

n

What you'll be doing:

n

n
- Lead the design and development of complex data and engineering solutions
n
- Design scalable systems and assess technical design options and trade-offs
n
- Improve data integration, transformation, management and accessibility
n
- Provide specialist technical advice to stakeholders and project teams
n
- Drive automation, performance optimisation and continuous improvement
n
- Ensure solutions meet quality, security, risk and governance requirements
n
- Support cloud and technology infrastructure operations
n
- Contribute to technical standards, knowledge sharing and emerging technology initiatives
n




- Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks
n

n

What we're looking for:

n

n
- Robust experience in Data Engineering / Specialist Engineering roles
n
- Experience designing and delivering complex enterprise solutions
n
- Advanced programming capability
n
- Strong database, data integration and software integration experience
n
- Cloud technology experience
n
- Understanding of security, technical risk and quality assurance
n
- Ability to provide technical leadership and work with senior stakeholders
n
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, IT, Computer Science or a related discipline
n
