Maintenance Superintendent
n FPSO Operations | Equatorial Guinea
n
Are you an experienced Maintenance Superintendent with a strong FPSO background and a passion for operational excellence? We're seeking a dynamic leader to take ownership of maintenance strategy and execution on a producing offshore asset in Equatorial Guinea.
n
This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, integrity, and performance of complex offshore production systems while leading a multidisciplinary maintenance team in a challenging and rewarding environment.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Lead all maintenance and condition-monitoring activities onboard the FPSO.
n
- Champion a strong safety culture through strict adherence to HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, risk assessments, and management of change processes.
n
- Manage preventative, corrective, and shutdown maintenance programmes to maximise asset availability.
n
- Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, and regulatory requirements.
n
- Oversee maintenance planning, inventory management, and spare parts control through CMMS systems such as AMOS.
n
- Coordinate and supervise contractor, vendor, and project personnel.
n
- Support incident investigations, audits, inspections, and corrective action close-out.
n
- Drive cost awareness and maintenance efficiency initiatives.
n
- Develop, mentor, and assess maintenance personnel to ensure competency and performance excellence.
n
- Act as a key member of the offshore leadership team,
collaborating with all departments to optimise production performance and reliability.
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Superintendent on an FPSO, FSO, offshore production facility, or similar hydrocarbon processing setting.
n
- Strong knowledge of offshore maintenance management, asset integrity, and reliability principles.
n
- Experience managing multidisciplinary maintenance teams across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
n
- Demonstrated understanding of Permit to Work systems, isolations, risk assessments, and safety management processes.
n
- Experience working with maintenance management systems (AMOS experience highly regarded).
n
- Strong stakeholder management and contractor supervision capabilities.
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
- Degree or HND in a relevant Engineering discipline; or
n
- Chief Engineer Officer certification (STCW III/2) or equivalent marine engineering qualification.
n
- Offshore and marine industry certifications relevant to the role.
n
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
n
n
