Intersport Forster is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Retail Sales & Merchandising team member to join our friendly team.
n
We're looking for someone who enjoys retail, takes pride in creating a great-looking store and, most importantly, loves helping customers find exactly what they need.
n
About the Role
n
You'll be involved in all areas of our busy sports store, including:
n
n
- Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service
n
- Selling across footwear, apparel and sporting equipment
n
- Merchandising and creating great-looking displays
n
- Helping with the ongoing development and presentation of the store
n
- Working with leading sporting and lifestyle brands
n
- Being part of a supportive and experienced team, while having the ability to work alone
n
n
About You
n
We'd love to hear from you if you:
n
n
- Have previous retail experience — sports retail experience would be fantastic
n
- Have great people and communication skills
n
- Are confident, motivated and happy to use your initiative
n
- Have a good eye for merchandising and presentation
n
- Enjoy working as part of a team
n
- Have an interest in sport, fitness or an active lifestyle
n
- Are willing to continually improve your product knowledge
n
n
What We Offer

- Full-time hours preferred, however part-time will definitely be considered for the right person
n
- Must be available weekdays and occasional weekends
n
- Attractive hourly rate based on experience
