We're looking for a skilled Operations Manager to join the team at Baker Bleu!

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a skilled Operations Manager to join our leadership team.

n

Having recently opened a brand new production site, with more retail stores in the pipeline, we are busier than ever - This is a great opportunity to join a growing business in a leadership role.

n

The operations manager is a crucial role within our business - to keep the wheels turning and ensure efficiency across our sites.

n

Some of the major functions of this role include

n

n
- Managing transport and logistics between our retail stores and production sites, as well as with our 3rd party logistics partners
n
- Managing dispatch from production sites, to ensure packing and dispatch is accurate and efficient
n
- Asset management including equipment and parts purchasing, storage and inventory, as well as managing internal service requests and scheduled maintenance with the Baker Bleu service tech and external contractors
n
- Vehicle maintenance and fleet management
n
- Recruitment, induction, scheduling and timekeeping for delivery staff
n
- Overseeing waste management, pest control and contract cleaning across our sites
n
- Procurement from local & international suppliers - end to end management from purchase order to customs clearance & delivery
n
- Warehousing and inventory management
n

Primarily based in our Braeside production site, you will spend time across our retail and production sites in Hawksburn village, Cremorne, South Yarra, Caulfield North and Dandenong.

n

About you

We are looking for a strong leader with relevant industry experience.

n

To be considered for this role, you will need to bring:

n

- Excellent knowledge of operations in a similar production/retail setting
n
- Strong communication skills - you will be dealing with people at all levelsProven experience in the recruitment and selection process
n
- Excellent numeracy and written skills
n
- Strong computer skills including excel, Microsoft suite and rostering software
n
- A positive, forward‐thinking mindset
n
- An awareness of OHS obligations and standards
n
- A desire to grow and evolve with our business
n
- Experience driving commercial delivery vehicles
n
- Forklift license
n
