Job Description
This role exists to improve meeting room uptime, reduce avoidable incident volume and provide faster resolution through a consistent onsite presence. You will complete proactive room checks, respond to AV incidents and service requests, support meeting room technology during business hours and elevate more complex issues when required.

This is a practical, customer-facing role suited to someone with foundational AV, IT support, service desk or meeting room technology experience who enjoys hands‐on troubleshooting, regular onsite interaction and keeping meeting spaces running reliably.

Key responsibilities
n
n
- Provide onsite support for AV and meeting room technology during business hours, Monday to Friday.
n
- Respond to incidents and service requests related to meeting room hardware and collaboration tools.
n
- Complete proactive room checks, testing and basic preventative maintenance.
n
- Troubleshoot microphones, speakers, cameras, displays and Microsoft Teams Rooms devices.
n
- Act as the onsite escalation point for the Service Desk and provide clear updates on issues and progress.
n
- Support room setups, minor changes and post-installation testing.
n
- Maintain basic documentation, including room status, recurring issues and asset information.
n
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers with clear notes and supporting detail.
n
- Maintain a professional, reliable and customer-focused presence onsite.
n

What we are looking for
n
n
- Experience in AV, Teams Rooms, IT support or meeting room technology, with strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused approach.
n
- Practical hands‐on troubleshooting capability and a willingness to learn.
n
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Rooms or similar collaboration platforms.
n
- Confidence working independently onsite, with support available from remote and senior teams.
n
- Clear communication skills and the ability to assist non-technical users in a calm, professional manner.
n
- Experience in a corporate, enterprise or secure site environment.
n
- Exposure to structured cabling, AV signal flow or room commissioning.
n
- Basic ITIL, service desk or ticket management exposure.
n
n
