Now Careers is partnered with a metal and plastic packaging specialist, based in Western Sydney who are looking to add a print offsider to their team. This position would be well suited to both experienced and inexperienced candidates with training and support provided. THIS ROLE ALSO REQUIRES A FORKLIFT LICENCE.

The role will be 3 12 hour shifts a week, Wednesday to Friday with that changing to Thursday, Friday Saturday once other production line is running. Overtime available also by working a 4th 12 hour shift in the week.

ABOUT THE ROLE

n

This is a hybrid role where you will split your time between learning and assisting machine operators and also operating forklifts to load/unload materials safely and efficiently.

n

Responsibilities:

n

n
- Perform manual handling of tinplate and stillage boards - up to 12kg.
n
- Assist with machine operation in a fast paced environment.
n
- Safely operate forklifts in warehouse workplace.
n
- Assist with machine wash-ups using solvents and inks.
n
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in all work areas.
n
- Work within a team to ensure completion of all jobs on time.
n

- Forklift licence

To be considered for the role, you will attend an interview in Glendenning, followed by a medical at one of our preferred occupational medical partners. The medical includes a drug and alcohol assessment.
