Agreement: Hobart City Council Enterprise Agreement 2024
Salary range: $41.05 per hour , inclusive of sessional rates and casual loading + 13.5% superannuation.

About The Role
This role contributes to the success of the City by delivering gym sessions at the Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic Centre, with a focus on member engagement, consistency of service delivery, continuous improvement, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the gym.
Role Accountabilities Include
- Delivering high-quality fitness services, including client inductions, personal training, rehabilitation programs and group fitness sessions.
- Supporting a safe and welcoming gym environment through effective supervision, customer service and health and fitness advice.
- Promoting member engagement and participation while maintaining accurate records, bookings and usage data, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

About You
You are a passionate fitness professional who enjoys helping people achieve their health and wellbeing goals. You thrive in a customer-focused environment and are committed to delivering exceptional service, building positive relationships and creating a safe, inclusive and motivating experience for all gym users.
With experience providing individual fitness instruction, you can confidently assess clients, develop tailored exercise programs and adapt your approach to suit a diverse range of fitness levels and needs. You bring strong communication and interpersonal skills,
a proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also working independently when required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Certificate III in Fitness (SIS30321)
- Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
- Provide First Aid (HLTAID011)
- Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (HLTAID009)
