Job Opportunity:

We are on the hunt for a stand‐out Veterinary Receptionist to join our team, on a part‐time basis (with opportunity to grow into a full‐time role for the right person).

n

We're looking for a very special kind of person.

Not a future vet nurse.

n

Not someone looking for a temporary role.

n

We're looking for a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist who loves customer service and wants to build a rewarding career helping pets and the people who love them.

n

Our nursing team is fantastic and already well established. What we're searching for is someone who thrives at the front desk, enjoys administration, and understands that a warm welcome, a kind word, and exceptional service can make all the difference to a client's day.

n

As the first face clients see and the first voice they hear, you'll play a vital role in creating an outstanding experience for every pet and pet parent who visits our clinic.

n

The role requires that you:

n

- Be passionate about customer service and creating memorable client experiences.
n
- Have a genuine love for pets and the people who care for them.
n




- Enjoy customer service and administration as a long‐term career path.
n
- Be a quick learner who embraces new systems, processes and challenges.
n
- Have previous reception, administration or customer service experience.
n
- Be confident answering phones and managing enquiries.
n
- Love being organised and keeping multiple tasks on track.
n
- Communicate with warmth, professionalism and empathy.
n
- Have strong computer skills and excellent attention to detail.
n
- Stay calm, friendly and solutions‐focused when things get busy.
n
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
n
- Be comfortable juggling appointments, paperwork, payments and all the moving parts that keep a clinic running smoothly.
n

Bonus points (not essential) if you have:

n

n
- Veterinary reception experience.
n
- Veterinary nursing experience.
n
- Experience in healthcare, medical reception, hospitality or retail customer service.
n
- Knowledge of EzyVet or other veterinary software.
n
